Ortho-King has developed two milling machines, including
software for milling orthopaedic lasts. The machines
are connected to the Ortho-King web system, which enables
it to directly retrieve and mill the orders.
Ortho-King M4L Milling machine
The Ortho-King M4L is the newest double last milling
machine on the market. It mills a pair of (uneven) lasts
at the same time. The machine takes approx. 5½
minutes for milling a pair and has a maximum capacity
of approx. 10 pairs per hour.
Ortho-King OFM-D Milling machine
The Ortho-King OFM-D milling machine mills one lasts
at the time. The machine takes approx. 5 minutes for
milling a last and has a maximum capacity of approx.
6 pairs per hour.
